Before I start talking about our trip to Yellowstone, I found pictures from one other family outing we had before that. We drove over to Big Break Regional Shoreline. It ended up not being what we expected, but we watched fish, looked at feathers and fossils and dead bugs under a microscope, Adaline built a boat, and Andrew taught Adaline how to properly hand off a baton in a relay race. This little guy sure loves to eat When we got the stroller out of the car, we noticed that the tires looked a little flat-good thing our emergency kit has an air compressor!  Adaline is ready for the baton, in either hand apparently Well, it was almost a month ago now that we loaded up the car and headed for M&K's house in Idaho! Matthew says "mom"!!!! He also might have said "dad" once or twice, but we aren't positive. I forgot to put that in my last post, so I wanted to make sure I didn't forget. And just for fun, I'll jot down that he's mostly wearing 9 mo clothes because his 6 month stuff just got too short. June started out slow so I felt like I should wait to blog and then suddenly so many things had happened. First there was my birthday. Nothing crazy, but Andrew made me carrot cake and set up a surprise (for me) pedicure for me and Carolyn. Since the guys were watching the kids, we took full advantage of the situation and roamed Target for a while afterward.
