May 2024 It's interesting to write this exactly a year later. Looking through my pictures from last May makes me excited for the month ahead, when the flowers bloom, everything turns green, and all the people come out of hiding. May is a magical month here in northern Sweden. As soon as it warmed up just a bit and the sun was out, the boys were barefoot and in shorts, and we walked over to the park just across the river from us. We played, ate ice cream, and got really excited for the warm months to come. Adaline and I played at another park near our house and we were very proud of the perfect mote that we dug. The last thing we expected when moving here was to continue experiencing earthquakes like in California. Andrew and I felt it right away, but thought it was the construction on campus (which shakes our house regularly).
