Happy 2 months!

2 whole months and so much bigger :) I can't believe how quickly the time goes, but you are 2 whole months old as of Sunday. On Friday you had your  2 month check-up and you had to get shots...yuck. You cried and cried, then whimpered, then cried some more for the rest of the day. I don't blame you, those things hurt! You're still quite little, you weighed 10 lbs 9 oz and were 22.25 inches long. That only puts you in the 30-ish percentile for your age. It's fine with me though, I love my little princess. I call you munchkin a lot these days, cause that's just what you look like and you're so cute I just want to cuddle and play with you all day. You have the most beautiful eyes and I am rather jealous of your eyelashes. You're a beautiful baby. You're so wonderfully smile-y! You recently discovered ceiling fans and man do they fascinate you. You like to smile at them and other inanimate objects like the jackets of the back of our d...

Happy Birthday to me

The baby girl has been asleep for just over 10 hours now. Since I should be studying for the test I'm taking tomorrow, I am naturally drawn to the blog. I just need to document how awesome my birthday was this year! On Monday, Andrew came home from work and said we needed to go buy ice cream before we went on our run. He didn't look me in the eye the whole time he was talking, so I knew something fishy was going on, but I went with it. He wasn't going to the regular grocery store and when I asked why not, he just giggled (he's just not a very good liar). In the same parking lot as the grocery store is a running store and Andrew was taking me to get some new running shoes. Yippee! He was disappointed that I wasn't super surprised, but glad that I liked the present. I almost cried watching someone else feed her, but we had to make sure she'd take a bottle so we could go to dinner Tuesday (the birthday): People texted/called/facebooked me "happy birt...

My baby is the best

Miss Adaline has been napping for almost two hours now....  Updating the blog is a sure sign that I have run out of things to do. Naturally, all of my crafty things are kept in her bedroom so those aren't an option. She didn't used to sleep like this, but we put cardboard up in her windows to block out the light and now she sleeps like a dream (tee hee). The nine or nine and a half hours of sleep that we've gotten the past two nights have been WONDERFUL! Now I just need to get out of the habit of waking up at 5:30- she obviously has. Andrew is loving his internship. I'm still not totally sure what he does all day, but he says he likes it and that's good enough for me. Neither of us loves his commute (especially when he takes the train) but it's worth it since we didn't have to move- and it'll only be 2.5 more months. In the mean time, we are just living it up on the weekends. This past weekend, we went to Andrew's soccer game (he won 8-1 I think); ...
