We're still alive!

For some reason I thought that if i didn't blog for a while, my blog would just disappear and no one would ever miss it. Well, I bet no one misses it, but it's still here and I still feel obligated to write things on it. So here's what we're gonna do. Rather than play catch up in one giant post, I'll just post about the recent happenings little by little till we get caught up (or close to it). Deal? Deal!

So about a month ago, we had our ward Christmas party. Andrew accompanied a violin/cello quartet on the piano, I sang with the Relief Society, and we both ate our fill of mashed potatoes, ham, and banana pudding. We really loved hanging out with all of our friends in that ward and will miss them lots. Here are some pictures:

The next weekend (or maybe the one after that) was Packing the U-haul day plus Andrew's Birthday! So we  spent the morning enjoying the help of our awesome friends while we packed and cleaned our apartment. Then we got cleaned up and went to The Cheesecake Factory for Birthday dinner! We ordered waaaaay too much food and couldn't keep the leftovers since we were leaving the next day, so we gave the other 3/4 of my burrito to some of our teenager friends. Andrew got some earmuffs with built in speakers for the cold days in Provo. Then we went to a church member's house where we were staying the night and I finished my talk for church the next day.

This talk was probably the best one I've ever given during church. It was a little short, so Andrew got asked to talk for a little bit at the end. Like I said, perfect. After church, we hooked the car onto the tow dolley in POURING rain, and spent at least the first two hours of our drive soaking wet. The rain didn't last for too long and we made it safe and sound to Amarillo for the night.
