Happy 2 months!

2 whole months and so much bigger :)

I can't believe how quickly the time goes, but you are 2 whole months old as of Sunday. On Friday you had your  2 month check-up and you had to get shots...yuck. You cried and cried, then whimpered, then cried some more for the rest of the day. I don't blame you, those things hurt! You're still quite little, you weighed 10 lbs 9 oz and were 22.25 inches long. That only puts you in the 30-ish percentile for your age. It's fine with me though, I love my little princess. I call you munchkin a lot these days, cause that's just what you look like and you're so cute I just want to cuddle and play with you all day. You have the most beautiful eyes and I am rather jealous of your eyelashes. You're a beautiful baby.

You're so wonderfully smile-y!

You recently discovered ceiling fans and man do they fascinate you. You like to smile at them and other inanimate objects like the jackets of the back of our door, the refrigerator, and the box of pears just to name of few of your friends. You also love to try and crawl whenever you're on your stomach. You make all the motions, but just don't get anywhere. It's so funny and you kind of end up looking like you're swimming. I'm sure you'll figure it out one day, but I'm grateful it won't be anytime real soon-you have a LOT of other things to learn first. For now just keep on smiling at us, we love it (so do the strangers at church).

You're doing a great job at sleeping. Your naps are getting more predictable and the other night you slept for 11.5 hours (I had to keep checking on you to make sure you were okay). Now we're just working on getting you to go to bed before ten thirty or eleven. You love sucking on your hands. It's funny because you still like to keep your hands in tight little fists a lot of the time, so you're rarely able to get your thumb out and suck on it. You like it when we kiss your feet and zurberts still surprise and confuse you for a few seconds.

Unfortunately, you still don't like peanut butter and chocolate. I forgot and accidentally had some of Andrew's frosty and you reminded me later by throwing up all over me at 2am. Thanks for the reminder ;)

great because then I could use 2 hands!

Sometimes you go to bed without us brushing your hair after
your bath...in real life it looks even crazier

You're the most wonderful little baby (certainly the best one we've ever had) and we love you so much. Keep bringing so much joy to our lives.

Andrew reported that he had the best father's day ever. I made pork loin ribs and they were a big hit with him. I'm so glad because he really is an amazing father. He loves playing with Adaline and making her smile. He is the best at putting her to sleep. She almost always falls asleep while he is holding her and they are so cute together when they're snuggling. He is so good at coming home from work and instantly making everything better and making me realize that I did accomplish worthwhile things during the day. We really love that Daddy-O!
