Nothing too crazy

It's been pretty chill around here the last few weeks, but I'll give you the highlights: We decorated for Halloween a couple weeks ago!  Have I ever told you just how much I love decorating for holidays? Man oh man, it sure is a lot. It just feels so darn festive and exciting. (I don't have pictures of this yet- check back later).
Two weekends ago Andrew and I decided to try out the local (on our street) Italian restaurant and while the pasta left me slightly unsatisfied, there was some mighty good bread. (Speaking of bread, I made homemade rolls for the first time ever and they were quite delicious.)
On our way to Antonio's
P.S. Andrew really needed a haircut in this pic and I still haven't given him one...

The best part of our recent activities was definitely last weekend. The mall was almost closed and Andrew and I were really feeling some soft pretzels-but the food court didn't have any! So, when we passed IHOP on our way home, I thought that sounded pretty good. Andrew pulled the quickest U-turn I've ever witnessed and within 20 minutes I was eating breakfast at 9:30pm. You can't say we're not spontaneous anymore. It was soo good :D

In other news, we signed up for our classes back at the Y next semester (I'm super excited). Also, I've been trying to cook things I don't usually make. I've made: apple fritters, mini corn dogs, meatloaf (still don't like it), the previously mentioned rolls, cookies and cream cheesecake cupcakes, homemade tomato soup, caramel apples, pumpkin cake! and lots more delicious things I can't currently think of.
Dipped in butterfingers or pecans!

Mini corn dogs aren't exactly good for you,
but what deep fried (read: delicious) food is?

That's all the excitement going on around here. Andrew's brother will be here again in a few weeks and we're looking forward to spending time with him again. It's great that he has to come over here for work every now and then.

Happy Halloween!

P.S. Here's a cool bridge we get to go on when we escape
to the South (like we did for stake conference last weekend).
