We're pretty busy folk

Yeesh! We need to go back to March...so before I report on our move and the festivities of Scandinavia, I'm going to finish a post I started a looong time ago. (The post finishes about mid-April, if you keep that in mind it will be less confusing.)

At the end of March, the Reeves family came to town on their way to look at houses. We loved having them all living in our house and we squeezed in a lot of fun  during their short visit. We went to a BYU rugby game, the Sacred gifts exhibit at the MOA, BYU bookstore, chuck-rama, and played soccer and rugby at the park. That night we were all excited to watch Frozen because mom bought it earlier that day. When Andrew opened up the case, it just wasn't there. Apparently this isn't the first time my mom has bought an empty DVD case. Isn't it ridiculous the things that some people will do? Anyway, Andrew and I saved the day by renting it from red box. On Sunday we went to church and had our famous bbq pulled pork for lunch. It was a great little visit; Come again soon!
Adaline kept bringing me this tutu from her Halloween costume to put on her. Then she would run around in it all day. Adorable.

Intensely watching some rugby

These two are best friends. I'm serious. Adaline adores him.

Noah's teacher doesn't believe that an almost one-year-old can have shoulder length hair, so we took this picture to prove that Adaline really does.

Adaline's favorite hangout spot

Adaline and I went mini golfing with Adam and Audrey's family

One morning Adaline didn't wake up when she usually does which was weird, but Andrew went ahead and left for school. She woke up not long after he left and when I went in to get her, the whole room smelled terrible! My poor baby had thrown up during the night and was sleeping in it. I felt so awful. We spent the day snuggling on the couch. Just as Adaline started getting better (a couple days later) I got it too. And when I was feeling better...Adaline got a new tooth. So that week was a little rough to say the least.

We had a game night with Adam and Audrey which involved playing hilarium-which was pretty hilarious luckily-and eating exotic fruits. We also stayed up waaay to late and we vowed to never do that again.

Alyssa came and watched Adaline so that we could try out some free Rita's ice on the first day of spring-we approved. And speaking of delicious food...for our conference morning breakfast, we got kolaches from this new place on center street. They were GOOD and Andrew finally understands kolaches!

And mostly just being adorable

After I ran the 10k in March, my knee went wacky on me. I tried not running for a week, but then I would try and it would hurt after only half a mile. So then I would not run for two weeks, etc. but nothing worked. I was getting really comfortable with my long-ish runs and now I'm going to have to start all over. It's been such a bummer not being able to exercise.

Andrew had a fun pizza night with "the boys" before the priesthood session of conference. You'll have to ask him for details-I don't have any.

Adaline has SO much personality. She has some favorite books that she could read all day long. She'll take all of the books out of the basket until she finds just the one she's looking for. Then she'll bring it to me and force her way into my lap.  It's still a little weird to me that she just walks around all the time. I thought I had  a baby, not an almost toddler! She's also started the terrible transition from 2 naps to 1. It's been rough  because she thinks she doesn't need that second one and she'll just lie awake until she eventually starts crying...but she definitely needs that sleep. Her most recent trick is telling people what cats and dogs say when we ask her. She LOVES dogs like crazy.

Force way into his non-existent lap

Enjoy
We're excited to move to Louisiana. It's crazy that we'll live even closer to the temple there than we currently do. Our apartment complex looks really nice and our church building is right next to the temple, so it's nice and close too. We will also be about 4 miles from Costco...oh yeah!!! We are planning to go swimming a lot, visit a plantation, go on a swamp tour, and hopefully lots more. We can't wait to see what this next adventure has in store for us.
