Easters

Despite having celebrated Adaline's birthday already, we still wanted to do things she would like on her actual birth day. Since our house was already a packing zone, we went to the little play place at the mall and let Adaline run/climb all over the place. Then I needed to go to Costco, so we got Adaline some frozen yogurt while we were there. She loved it. I just wasn't feeding it to her fast enough. That night we left Adaline with a baby-sitter (rude, I know, at least she doesn't know the difference) and we got to go to Andrew's senior banquet. The highlight of the show...Andrew! There were 5 "Outstanding Senior" awards given out, but Andrew got THE Outstanding Senior award. He's the best of the best (not like I ever doubted that). It was fun to talk with some of our friends before they all move around the country to start real people jobs.

Being fancy
Adaline was great at helping me pack:

She was so nice and just sat in this empty drawer while I packed up the whole house...not

Apparently I wore her out, because seconds after she asked me to pick her up, I realized she had fallen asleep.

Next came Easter! We had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday with A&A's family and then had dinner at Grandma Smith's apartment on Sunday. It was a great weekend and I do not apologize for the many pictures to follow.
I wasn't sure if she would get the whole egg hunt thing, but she totally did. She was surprisingly good at finding the eggs, picking them up, and putting them in her bucket. She thought it was great.

Enjoying her spoils

The Easter bunny that comes to our house is sort of lazy and doesn't believe in giving barely-one-year-olds candy.

Everyone had an egg trailing leading from their door to their basket. The trails were a little criss-crossed, but they were color-coded so don't worry.

Mid-fall, but so happy about it

Isn't she helpful?
