The end of 2017!
I hate it when my babies have to be sick, and poor Matthew tends to get croup. He LOVES to snuggle, whether sick or not, so at least I can do that for him. |
Every morning when I ask what Matthew would like for breakfast, he says things like, "chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, tortillas with cheese, etc". One morning I came into the kitchen to find him helping himself to some still frozen chicken nuggets. |
I got to take a little mom break for a weekend and go to Time Out For Women with all of these lovely ladies. It was so much fun! |
Michael got to play with his birthday present at the store. Surprises just aren't that important when you're 1. |
This is the picture we sent our families to tell them about our newest baby on the way |
Mama and Michael on his birthday! We love this cutie so darn much!! |
Picking out some pumpkins for the porch |
This is how he eats his hot dogs every time. I don't get it, but he eventually eats it all, so I also don't care. lol |
Adaline came with me to shop for family pictures clothes. I had her try on a couple things so I could take a picture to send Andrew, but she started throwing out all these poses |
The Sunday after Michael's birthday, we celebrated by having Andrew's aunt and uncle over for dinner plus some friends for cake. He did a good job opening his presents and absolutely loved eating his cake.
6 months after this picture, and a ball is still his very favorite toy. |
"Quit taking pictures and let me eat my cake!" |
Preschool fieldtrip to the pumpkin patch! These 3 kiddos play so well and have so much fun together. I just love them |

Learning about the letter M in preschool |
We learned from the July 4th 5k, so this time we only had the kids do the fun run around the square. They were adorable. Then we had a friend watch them while Andrew and I got to run the 5k without kids or pushing a stroller. Andrew got 2nd place over all, and I got 3rd in my age group plus my best time ever. It was super fun to actually get to run |

Adaline was here |
These are the costumes they chose to wear for preschool |
I feel like we nailed it for thinking of an idea the night before Halloween! |
Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, and Michael |
We seem to have a tradition of carving pumpkins after Halloween. eh, whatever |
For some reason they love to bike down to this staircase and play |
Celebrating Matthew's 3rd birthday at the jump place!
Matthew doesn't usually finish his dessert. Combine that with the fact that we had just had Michael's birthday cake and all the Halloween candy, and this is what I came up with for Matthew's birthday cake. He absolutely loved it, and all the kids downed the fruit. Part of me feels bad for him, and the rest of me thinks I'm a genius. |

My sad attempt at a volcano for preschool |

"Adaline" |
At the beginning of December, Andrew's parents came to visit. We all drove down to Monterey together to go to the aquarium two days in a row. The aquarium was awesome, and we ate lots of delicious food. It was a super fun little trip. Thanks for coming and for taking us down to Monterey; we loved it!
Watching the Christmas Parade downtown
My sister made these cute Polar Express tickets for me, we gave them to the kids and told them to get on their jammies, grab some hot chocolate, and get in the car to look at Christmas lights.
Finding out baby number 4 is a boy! Adaline was sooo ticked initially, but she has come around and is so excited to meet her newest brother.
Happy birthday to Andrew! You don't look a day over 18 :D
I gave him tickets to Charlie Brown Live with the San Francisco Symphony. We were both impressed and decided we need to go more often. |
Andrew and I both took Adaline on a date to the Nutcracker on Temple Hill. She was looking forward to it for the longest time, and did such a good sitting still and paying attention |
If she sees a book, she has to stop and read it. In this case, it worked out really well for me because I was paying for some Christmas things that I didn't want her to see. |
For some reason inflatable lawn decorations are super popular around here. I just don't get it. |
Christmas books and Christmas jammies and sibling love |
Michael was into open-mouthed kisses for a long time. He's recently figured out how to pucker which is a lot less messy |
Christmas Eve dinner |

Christmas lunch. Prefect because we'd all been snacking throughout the morning |
