We always seem to be so busy, and yet I feel like I don't have much to blog about. What is keeping us so busy?
I guess the biggest news is that Andrew accepted the job with Dow Chemical and we will be moving to California at the beginning of January. So now we get to figure out housing and moving stuff which Andrew is doing a great job with :) We are really excited and can't wait to see what's in store for us out on the west coast. Andrew is still a rockstar at school; he got a 98% on the last test that he got back which happened to be the high score. I love that smarty pants! Andrew is still playing soccer, and Adaline and I even got to watch his last 3 games. Adaline loves picking up the trash on the field and putting it in the trash can, yelling, "go daddy" at random points throughout the game, crying when Andrew has to go back into the game, and helping Andrew warm up. She is SUCH a daddy's girl. It's adorable.

Who taught her how to pose? |
Adaline and I keep ourselves busy by going to the library, grocery shopping, going to the park, and-when we're lucky-visiting Andrew at school. Adaline loves to exercise and will often start moving her arms and saying "run run run run" when we're carrying her. She loves to race us and will ask us to run with her. She also likes to play pretend and has her stuffed animals give each other lots of kisses. Between storytime at the library, and finally being in nursery (woohoo!!), she's getting better at interacting and being involved within a large group of kids.

Apparently she thinks the new baby's car seat makes the perfect reading chair |

She still loves dressing up |

Adaline LOVES strollers. I have no idea why, but I'm not complaining. The other day we were figuring out how to use the second seat on our double stroller and when we were finished, she refused to get down. She sat up there and "read" at least 5 books and just hung out until we eventually convinced her to come down and get a snack. She's so funny! |
 |
Of course, she fits so well in this stroller that maybe we don't even need our double stroller ;) |

This little girl LOVES to collect leaves (and sticks and rocks) |
With Andrew only taking 3 classes this semester, we get to hang out with him a lot more on the weekends and it is awesome! We especially love going on walks together. Yesterday we even went to the Bean Museum and the rec center playground. There's just nothing better than getting to all be together.

Man, he's cute |
This Halloween was my favorite so far (except maybe for when I was little). It started with a fun Halloween party hosted by the AA Glenns. We ate so much sugar and played lots of games. A couple of the hits were playing the orange passing game and the adverb game (accidentally and scientifically were two of my favorites). It should not be allowed to make pregnant women laugh so hard-it makes for a lot of extra laundry. Anyway, it was fun to make new friends and enjoy a night out of the house. Our next Halloween adventure was the ward party. We had dinner, Andrew and Adaline did some crafts together, and then we had the trunk-or-treat. Adaline got the hang of trick-or-treating really fast and had so much fun walking around holding out her bag and saying thank you. It was adorable. On Halloween, when she got to go out again, she had a blast all over again. When she got home, she begged to go back out, and when it was time to take off her costume, she ran away and started crying. She is too fun right now.

This is the kind of costume you make when you're not sure whether or not you'll be pregnant for Halloween |

They are so cute I can hardly stand it. |

I hope that the joke of Adaline being the one in charge and Andrew being her sidekick wasn't lost on you. The costume idea was Andrew's and I thought it was funny. I sure love these two. |
