The day after Adaline and I got back from Colorado, Gram and Grandpa Glenn came to visit. We love visitors! They got in at night so we just had dinner (and ice cream, duh) and visited until bedtime.
The next day Andrew had to go to work, so I took the Glenns around on a typical day in the life of Adaline. We played at the library, drove past the temple, and picked up some groceries. After lunch we drove around LSU and accidentally took the scenic way home past a lot of cool houses. Andrew was home by the time we got back, so we all went swimming.

Adaline LOVES Gram, she just really wasn't in the mood for pictures |

She's really good at "swimming," just only with her arms |
Andrew had Friday off, so we all went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I had no idea just how good their orange juice was. It's like they took all the pulp from all the crazy people who make orange juice without pulp and put it into their juice. It was sooo good. I also got to show Andrew and Alan how to play that game with the wooden triangle and the pegs. I thought everyone knew about it, but they had never seen it before. It was fun to visit and look around the store. When we got back to the house, it was time for them to leave. Their visit was short, but we really loved having them and all the time that we had to visit and catch up with them. Talking over Skype just isn't the same.
On Saturday, we went over to "Play Pretend Party." I'd been meaning to check it out for a while as something Adaline and I could do now that it's extra hot. I was really impressed with it and Adaline had so much fun playing.

Here are some random pictures from around the house recently:

It's convenient that most of our cabinets here are empty. They're the perfect place for a bed! |

This is what I walked in on. "Oh you know, just changing the baby's diaper, mom." Maybe she'll figure out how to change her own |
Between driving to Texas, spending a week in Colorado, and our most recent fun, I guess you could say we had a pretty busy July. Just the way we like it.
